Five Rivers Care are looking for motivated and driven Support Workers to join our growing team. The successful candidates will be assisting individuals in the community living with disabilities. This could include assisting individuals with accessing the community, teaching public transport, social interactions, building life skills and capacity, and many other rewarding adventures.
The following criteria are essential for employment in this role:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid (CPR) Certificate
- Current Working With Childrens Check
- Valid drivers License, roadworthy vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance
- NDIS New Worker Module
- NDIS Worker NDIS Orientation Module
- NDIS Mealtime Support Module
- NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module
The following criteria are not essential but desired for this role:
- Accredited Medication Management
- Accredited Dysphasia Management
- Accredited Manual Handling
- Minimum Certificate 3 in individual support or equivalent – or past experience in a similar role
